Real Life vs. Reality
It's all about writing real—but it's not. Often those who write with bad language, about bad morals, and bad life examples use the justification of, that's the way life is and we have to write real. But writers know that we can't write real because no one would believe it.
Saturday and Sunday it was extremely warm. Not unbearable, but uncomfortable. Where one of our sons lives, Young Fuzzy, it was close to 100 degrees. Old Fuzzy was laughing Sunday morning. A friend of his on Face Book was vacationing close to where Young Fuzzy lives and his friend had copied the weather report as: currently 100 degrees (on the 6th) and on Tuesday (the 8th) possibly 28 degrees and 3 inches of snow.
Our forecast is for cool and windy weather here, but no snow. There are quite a few people who have said they are ready for this horrific year to be over. I do like holidays, but I'm not really ready for them yet. I'm ready for autumn weather and autumn days... warm mellow days and cool (but not cold) nights for bonfires and wienie roasts, s'mores and hot chocolate and apple cider.
The temperatures have dropped considerably and we received the blessing of rain. Many farmers were chopping corn and some have dabbled at harvesting beans. We've had a horrific drought this year. Not as bad as 2011/2012, but pretty sad looking. Old Fuzzy picked up some wheat to seed for me. We haven't ever grown wheat before, so this could be interesting. We have grown rye and I believe buckwheat.
As we look into the future what do we see? I don't have a crystal ball, but if I did I think it would be lots of uncertainty. Some of the riots have taken a breather and I can only guess as to why that is. We are facing the upcoming election in November which many have blamed for the riots and the pandemic.
Some people see President Trump as (at least) a bad man; some see him as the savior of our country. God sees him as a human man with faults the same as all of us, but also as a tool to bring this country a message. The message as I see it would be: "Wake up America, you've allowed the Progressive ideology to have the upper hand for far too long. Yes, they are loud and proud and like a naughty child throwing a temper tantrum. They've led this country down a slippery slope away from God. You can see where it has brought you, and if you open your eyes you can see where it will end up. Take back your schools, take back your children, take back your families now before it's too late. Take back your lives and your country, all the way back to God. God is the real Savior of this country."
Mark 13:
7) And when ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars, be ye not troubled: for such things must needs be; but the end shall not be yet. 8) For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be earthquakes in divers places, and there shall be famines and troubles: these are the beginnings of sorrows. 9) But take heed to yourselves: for they shall deliver you up to councils; and in the synagogues ye shall be beaten: and ye shall be brought before rulers and kings for my sake, for a testimony against them. 10) And the gospel must first be published among all nations.
