Where Do You Go When No Place Is Left?

So many troubles in these times. We see things that shock us, things that make us wonder why and where will these things take us?

It is true that the candle shines brighter in the darkness—but only for those who can see it. The lighthouse shines mostly for ships at sea. Is it time to bring out "Pilgrims Progress" and would it help people to make better choices? We would have to change somethings about the story such as the clothes and language...

I was told by a Church acquaintance back in the late 1970s/early 1980s that she had read an article on the trashing of American language. The concept was to introduce profane language into our culture so that common people wouldn't think it strange to hear obscenities. Boy, howdy have they done a job in that area. In trying to listen to news stories and whatnot people seem to have no qualms about horrible language. Stuff just spews out of their lips.

This reminds me of my Grandmother. My sister (who was in high school at the time) used a profane word in Grandma's presence, and Grandma said, "You have something in your mouth that I wouldn't want in my hand."

I've come to believe there needs to be a turning back. First, of course, a turning back to God, His Word, and obedience to His principles. Second, we need to wrest power from people who are unworthy to wield the scepter of power and put it back into the American citizen's hands. When we began to homeschool we were asked why we weren't using our public schools. I had no answer at the time but now after years of study and research the answer is, they never were our public schools. Once the government got involved step by step they were sabotaged and used by people with an agenda to where we are now.

1Corinthians 16:

13) Watch ye, stand fast in the faith, quit you like men, be strong.

14) Let all that ye do be done in love.

15) Now I beseech you, brethren (ye know the

house of Stephanas, that it is the firstfruits of Achaia, and that they have set themselves to

minister unto the saints), 16) that ye also be in subjection unto such, and to

every one that helpeth in the work and

laboreth.
