Prayer for Mercy
Here I am disguised as Saint George the Dragon slayer. The dragon was actually much bigger than what the artist has depicted here but when I pointed this fact out the artist said he was all out of paint and did the best he could with what he had, and then he shrugged as if it didn't matter.
I'm a writer, my name is Donevy, and I work the daily beat in the middle of nowhere, trying to keep people entertained. I make up stories sometimes, and most of those stories contain real thoughts, ideals and motives. The names have been changed and only bear a semblance to reality in order to protect the innocent and whatnot.

The world we are living in today looks like someone has written a horrible story and we're the actors playing the parts. We aren't getting paid near enough and we can't seem to opt out of this movie.
I listened to a song (I believe it was One Day At A Time) in which it called on the name of Jesus to save us, and in part it said: Things are worse today than they were when you walked among us.
That's a true and false statement. The Roman civilization was rough and dirty in many ways we don't even want to imagine. Our nation has degraded into much the same state except we have better bathtubs and showers for the outside of the person. Things are worse today because we have had the Light walk amongst us and people are wicked and evil—not because we don't know better, but because we make the choice to be wicked and immoral.
Psalms 130:
1) A Song of degrees. Out of the depths have I cried unto thee, O LORD. 2) Lord, hear my voice: let thine ears be attentive to the voice of my supplications. 3) If thou, LORD, shouldest mark iniquities, O Lord, who shall stand? 4) But there is forgiveness with thee, that thou mayest be feared. 5) I wait for the LORD, my soul doth wait, and in his word do I hope. 6) My soul waiteth for the Lord more than they that watch for the morning: I say, more than they that watch for the morning. 7) Let Israel hope in the LORD: for with the LORD there is mercy, and with him is plenteous redemption. 8) And he shall redeem Israel from all his iniquities.
