Took Sick

"Uncle Henry is fine. Aunt Ethel took sick, but she's recuperating at home."

The way we express ourselves is quite funny sometimes. Why would anyone take sick? And where did they take sick? Did they leave it there, share it, or let it go?

Today is Monday. Like Aunt Ethel above I've not felt perky today. I think it's a med that I've been taking and would like to get rid of. Medicine can be like that. A Trojan Horse that instead of making things better actually works against us.

Today was the first day back to school for the bus drivers as well as the children in our area. It was a new day and a new experience, and as some have observed before about other things in life, 'it was real, and maybe it was fun, but it wasn't real fun.' So, as we prepare for tomorrow's second day for school, have a great evening and may tomorrow be a wonderful day.

"For he that will love life, and see good days, let him refrain his tongue from evil, and his lips that they speak no guile: Let him eschew evil, and do good; let him seek peace, and ensue it. For the eyes of the Lord are over the righteous, and his ears are open unto their prayers: but the face of the Lord is against them that do evil." (1 Peter 3:10-12 KJV)
