Last Days

These are in no certain order.

The pic on the left is a pole bean and I don't know which variety. Could be a purple podded pole bean if you go by the color of the flower. The bean on the right is a Scarlet runner bean. Both of these beans require a support fence which you can see in the picture.

The picture on the bottom is from several years ago. These are pictures of tomatoes, and the ones that aren't up in the boxes yet are probably peppers.

The point of these pictures is, as I've told friends and relatives the last few weeks, 'if you've waited until now to begin learning about being self-sufficient there are two things wrong with your plan.

God is the sustainer in the first place. None of us are really 'self-sufficient' without our faith in the Almighty God.

Second, if you've waited until now, you've waited too long because it is now too late.

You need to get your life in order with God by studying His Word. I like the old timey song about 'let's go down to the river and pray, studying about that good old way.'

Prayer and study. Scripture tells us in Acts 2:

"Now when they heard this, they were pricked in their heart, and said unto Peter and to the rest of the apostles, Men and brethren, what shall we do? Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost." (Acts 2:37-38 KJV)

Nowhere in the scriptures are we told to 'repeat a sinner's prayer and be saved". The devil wants people to believe that because until a person does the 'repent and be baptized in the name of Jesus,' they aren't 'added to to church with those that are saved'.

Praising God, and having favour with all the people. And the Lord added to the church daily such as should be saved. (Acts 2:47 KJV)

So, come on down people, find someone to study scriptures with you about the old time religion found in the scriptures and be added to His church.

"(For he saith, I have heard thee in a time accepted, and in the day of salvation have I succoured thee: behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation.)" (2 Corinthians 6:2 KJV)
