Another Day
Or as some of the
older folks would say, another day and another dollar.
Some days the dollars come rather slow, but we trust in God to provide. This is the last few days of June 2020.
I don't know but anyone will miss June of 2020. Through the late winter and spring we've been fed lots of fear about a virus—not to make light of this pandemic, because lives are precious.
Now in late spring we've had riots—not to make light of the death of someone, but the riots didn't bring Mr. George Floyd back, neither did they help any community heal.
No one really wants to ask what's next. We're just holding our heads down and hoping not to get hit with something else.
We are the people in the cheap seats. The regular Joes that get up go to work, start small business, raise our families, and suffer when the economy suffers.

True to the American spirit, we are gearing up for July 4th. Last year we Iowans were deemed able to legally buy fireworks. Last year some of us had bought fireworks. We spectators sat in our driveway here across the road and were entertained as some of our family lit a display of sorts.
At this time, and as an American, we need to examine ourselves. Many of us prehistoric people having learned American History have been side swiped by a new, twisted history.
Biblical history teaches us that human beings are flawed. Most any honest person realizes the truth of that idea. This earth and its life is a constant struggle. It's a struggle between good and evil.
