Egg in the Shoe
Some people are great jokers. I'm not that great at joking.
I had a school mate who had married then came back to school to finish her senior year. She told us she had put an egg in her husband's shoe that year for April's fool day.
She thought it was funny. I don't know what he thought, but I think he did something as foolish as she did back. Neither one impressed me.
A joke seems to take time and spare time I don't usually have. These pooches seem to be sharing a joke of some sort and I like a funny uplifting joke.
Some of the funniest jokes are the ones that weren't meant to be. My dear Mother-in-law told one on herself.
Grandpa and Grandma would take the kids out to a nice restaurant for their birthdays. I believe it was my daughter's day, but whoever it was, they went to a nice buffet for their meal.
Marie liked pudding and there was a nice bowl of vanilla pudding on the buffet table, which she took back to their table. She had wondered at the look she received from the waiter when she picked it up, but until she took her first bite it hadn't made sense.
It was a bowl of butter rather than pudding. Now, if it had been my sister and I or my Adorable Cousin and I we could have had a baked potato and cleaned up the whole bowl between us, but...Marie was looking for pudding.
