The Hardest Part...
The pen of a ready writer—having something to say isn't the hardest part, usually—of writing. The hard part is having a title that sums it up and excites the reader to read.
And as I think on that tidbit, other thoughts crowd into my mind. Thoughts such as, speaking isn't the problem, learning when to listen is. Or, listening to the things that people say is important, but so is listening to what they leave unsaid.
There are a lot of loud people in the world. We have heard the analogy that the 'squeaky wheel gets the grease', and people understand that only too well.
In the parable of the importunate widow (Luke 18:2-5 KJV) the widow is avenged for her oft coming to the judge with her complaint, not with being loud and vengeful.
Many voices get lost in this world, and many stories fail to get heard. willing listeners are important. Learn to listen to the silent cry of the heart in a world of loud clanging voices.
