Saturday Morning
Our little person party has been postponed.
We have been deluged by rain this spring. Indeed we had a bit of rain early this morning and now the sun is shining. From my window there is bright blue sky and green leaves.
I don't remember if we had pancakes last Saturday, but it is tradition. Saturdays were always pancake day. For Mother's Day I received two presents. One was a much needed dishwasher and the second was a lovely bag of specialty flour.
I'm just about to use both of them. I've been working at loading the dishwasher. It is a bit different than any of them I've had before, so this is exciting. And the flour will go nicely into our pancakes and sausage breakfast.
Last week I made two rhubarb pies, one for our grill out—it's a Westphal must in season, and I froze one for in between. Here is a link to my Healing Thoughts blog that I did on rhubarb. Bon appetit have a wonderful Saturday and don't forget to attend worship on Sunday.
Job 12:7 "But ask now the beasts, and they shall teach thee; and the fowls of the air, and they shall tell thee: 8) Or speak to the earth, and it shall teach thee: and the fishes of the sea shall declare unto thee. 9) Who knoweth not in all these that the hand of the LORD hath wrought this? 10) In whose hand is the soul of every living thing, and the breath of all mankind.
