Spring Forward
This is the first week of 'daylight savings' time.
It is the dumb idea that we can chop the end off of one end of the blanket and gain a longer blanket by sewing the chopped off end on the other end of the blanket...
Free markets work because ideas and processes can quickly evolve. When the system gets stuck, it doesn’t get better. Without choice, we’re left with bullies and whatever is on their agenda. Get government and or bullies out of our lives.
As we know, measuring the wrong thing is worse than measuring nothing at all. Never thought of that, huh? There are a lot of measuring of the wrong things.
Ever heard someone say, you've made my day? When something bad happens, we can revisit the humiliation and anxiety for months. But the good stuff, if we don’t work at it, can pass right by.
We get what we remember, and we remember what we focus on. Focus on 'you made my day'.

Broken systems get worse when we confuse the loud voices with the important ones. The squeaky wheel may need attention, but not always THE attention it wants.
Most of us have said, 'I'd love to, but I don't have the time, or I don't have the money'. What is often the real crux of the matter is it isn't a priority.
When we care, it’s amazing how much we can get done. Regardless of time and money—if we care.
One way to choose to care is to be clear about your priorities, which means being clear in your language.
And so we can say to ourselves, “I’d love to do that, but it’s not a priority.”
That doesn't mean bad or good. We all need to make our priorities clear lest we waste our time on expediency. (Like the squeaky wheel.)
We need to watch the phrases that are all inclusive. For instance when we say, Everyone loves it, or no one cares, or everybody's doing...
Those phrases aren't usually true.
