How Many Steps Does It Take?
They have those funky step counters that tell us how many steps we take each day. Steps can be physical or a procedure. It can be a walking exercise, or it can be the 'how to get from here to there'.
Beards have become a fashion lately, gaining in popularity. Like any fashion, there are grooming tips for how to properly care for your beard. I enjoy historical and antique items.
On the above table we have the shave soap, brush, razor, and I'm not sure what the other tool is. Possibly a comb or an item for thinning the beard? I can't think that would ever happen, but maybe?
I don't know either of these guys, but one has facial hair, ie. beard and mustache, and I really like the other fellow's suit.
This is the last piece of Claudette's post. It asks two important questions:
"Who do you want to be in 10 years? What trace do you want to leave in this world? How would you like him to remember you? From here on you can only wonder what will happen to make this happen."
I have often used the question, Where do you want to be when you retire? And have people work back from there. However, I do like this question, "Who do you want to be..." and second, "How do you want to be remembered".
Who do you want to be? Some people are their own worst enemy. They aren't happy with them self, and they are determined no one else will be either.
Today's thought: "I hope there are days when your coffee will taste like magic, your playlist makes you dance, strangers make you smile, and the night sky touches your soul. I hope you fall in love with being alive again."
Today's scripture:
Galatians 5:13 "For ye, brethren, were called for freedom; only use not your freedom for an occasion to the flesh, but through love be servants one to another. 14) For the whole law is fulfilled in one word, even in this: Thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself. 15) But if ye bite and devour one another, take heed that ye be not consumed one of another. 16) But I say, walk by the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh."
