Pumpkins
I sat my perfectly beautiful pumpkins out by the tree in the front yard.
I had planned to give every family a pumpkin, but, as more often than I care to remember happens, most of them remain...kind of.
I'll just say it—My pumpkins melted. Maybe two weeks ago? Maybe three weeks ago I noticed a bit of blurring around the edges.
Now they have just puddled with a bit of snowy leaves almost covering them up.
It is a serious flaw in my nature. I have really good intentions, but they don't come to fruition as often as I'd like. Or they have a delayed time lapse.
Scriptures have a number of things to tell us about time, and about working in a timely fashion:
Galatians 4:4 "But when the fulness of the time was come, God sent forth his Son, made of a woman, made under the law, 5) To redeem them that were under the law, that we might receive the adoption of sons."
Colossians 4:5 "Walk in wisdom toward them that are without, redeeming the time."
Hebrews 2:1 "Therefore we ought to give the more earnest heed to the things which we have heard, lest at any time we should let them slip."
2 Corinthians 6:2 "(For he saith, I have heard thee in a time accepted, and in the day of salvation have I succoured thee: behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation.)"
