Enough

The bulletin preparer at Church has decided he would use the theme of Thankfulness during this season of thankfulness

I believe we should be thankful every day. At this time of year we should be thankful times ten.

This is a good idea, so I'm going to try to add my efforts as well. Here is a poem I've seen shared several times in the last number of years.

It has been said to be between son and mother, father and daughter—different scenarios. The idea is the same no matter who the characters are. Life is fragile, it sometimes is unpredictable.

It is somewhat of a tear jerker, and how can it be seen as sharing what we're thankful for? I'm hoping to encourage others to be thankful for family, friends, and our blessings of life.

We don't have to wait for the final goodbye. Indeed, the term that comes to mind is carpe diem—seize the moment/day.

Spend the time with family, laugh, love, and enjoy.

I WISH YOU ENOUGH, A POEM

I wish you enough:

I wish you enough sun to keep your attitude bright no matter how grey the day may appear.

I wish you enough rain to appreciate the sun even more.

I wish you enough happiness to keep your spirit alive and everlasting.

I wish you enough pain so that even the smallest of joys in life may appear bigger.

My wish you enough gain to satisfy your wanting.I wish you enough loss to appreciate all that you possess.

I wish you enough hellos to get you through the final good-bye.

I copied the poem from this website:

I had this ready to post yesterday, but I'm experiencing computer problems. I'm hopeful this doesn't present more problems. If it continues to do so it may well slow down my posts, so please bear with me.

Psalms 42:4 "When I remember these things, I pour out my soul in me: for I had gone with the multitude, I went with them to the house of God, with the voice of joy and praise, with a multitude that kept holyday.

5) Why art thou cast down, O my soul? and why art thou disquieted in me? hope thou in God: for I shall yet praise him for the help of his countenance."
