Its Come to That

This week has had its trials, and is finally sliding to an end. Monday we began an afternoon Vacation Bible School. I muttered all Monday morning "I'm not ready. I can't do this." That was my mantra, and the refrain was, 'Just shut up and get ready. Shut up and get ready...'. Tuesday was a bit better, because I was definitely committed to the task even though I wasn't any more prepared.

So went the week one day at a time. Kudos to my in class helpers, the loverlies Magda, Amy, Jenny, and Luceia, and my right hand guys Old Fuzzy Farmer and a younger version Fuzzy Farmer, and a Tobe.

I haven't done a book or character highlight for awhile and I will get to that next week. Some of my ugly pots are doing well plant wise. I do wish the ones with the flowers in it would hurry. The plants are like a pin prick they are still that small. But that will wait till next week—unless the Lord comes first.

We've had some sweet corn, but it will soon be finished. We've also had some potatoes, onions, beets, and cucumbers—yea! So, for the end of the week and beginning of the weekend, happy trails. See you next time.

John 14:6 "Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, and the truth, and the life: no one cometh unto the Father, but by me"
