Doubting...
Did you know that if you suffer with hypothyroidism, exercise can be harmful to your thyroid? The wrong exercise is what it's referring to, of course. I don't rightly know what the right exercise is since I've not bought the book and/or the information that goes with it. The theory is that when you are hypothyroid your cells don't have the fuel that they need to run properly in the first place (hence the fatigue and other nasty symptoms of hypothyroidism). Then exercise sends the body in to panic mode in which it sends out the stress hormones such cortisol and etcetera, and that damages the body and its functions even more.

You're welcome. If I stopped there and didn't read on I would have thought becoming a couch potato could be okay. My journey began when someone sent me an article from a Doctor Tom Brimeyer at Forefront Health. I'll include a link in case you'd like to read some of what Dr. Brimeyer has discovered on his journey:

I thought last time I added a link that I didn't do it properly because it didn't come out as it should have. I don't see any way to use it as a click on link, but maybe it will work anyway. It is an interesting read, and since I suffer from these problems I'm always seeking answers that will help in my struggles.
And the struggles are real. Have you ever looked at a person who is continuing to do things that are detrimental to them. Perhaps suffering from an addiction, or maybe just needing to change unhealthy habits? And maybe your thinking something like, why don't they just... add lettuce, or carrots, or exercise to their life? But they don't.
At one time my Grandmother was called on to minister to her sick mother-in-law. As she was trying to help her stand up, she said to her, "Mom, reach up and take a hold of the door knob and help me to stand you up."
Her mother-in-law replied, "I can't it's too far." My Grandmother tried to reason with her, "Mom, it's not too far. It's right there. Just reach up..." But, it was all to no avail.
Life is like that. Others can see what needs to be done, but to the one who needs to do it? Not so plain, and definitely not so easy. And reality sometimes sends a mirage to both the one who thinks they can see the answer for someone else's problem, and the one with the problem. As C.S. Lewis said:
“We are not necessarily doubting that God will do the best for us; we are wondering how painful the best will turn out to be.” ― C.S. Lewis
And that also is part of life. How painful will the best for us be?
Ephesians 5:15 "Look therefore carefully how ye walk, not as unwise, but as wise; 16) redeeming the time, because the days are evil."
