Santa Claus Herbicide

My children were part of our 'truck farm' experience as they were growing up, and they didn't always appreciate our humor. This is an example of what their dad called Santa Claus Herbicide, also known as the 'hoe, hoe, hoe, method. Sometimes living with the land instead of on the land requires work. I've had people tell me how much easier it is to use the 'chemicals', but we've tried to remain as true to Biblical principles in our walk here on earth. And no it isn't always easy. I've often observed that 'if there's a hard way to do a thing, I will find it—another humor which was lost on my kids as they were growing up.
