Looking For A City

Spring time is one of my favorite times of the year. The crab apple tree outside of my kitchen window has tiny pink and white blossoms.

Apple trees, cherry trees, plums and peaches are blooming and happy birds have built their nests in the trees.

That reminds me of Anne of Green gables, and how she tells Matthew that she had thought she would 'sleep in the cherry tree' if Mathew hadn't come for her.

Stepping outside on the deck just now the smell of flowers perfuming the air is delightful and pure springtime.

This post was delayed by a glitch in the computer and other health issues. I know, however, that even though beauty has been all over the landscape, it will continue to grow for months.

God surely has created a beautiful world that will only be surpassed by heaven itself. Heaven, where there will be no tears or sorrow, pain or loss.

"By faith he sojourned in the land of promise, as in a strange country, dwelling in tabernacles with Isaac and Jacob, the heirs with him of the same promise: For he looked for a city which hath foundations, whose builder and maker is God." (Hebrews 11:9-10 KJV)
